MARINE CORPS VETERAN
Jonathan (Jon) Munday is a Southern Californian Native, and the only child of Anna Grubbs and Dave Munday. Growing up he was always an athlete as well as a diligent student. Jon has always felt patriotic for his country and obligation to serve it. He is the great nephew of William E. Davis, WWII fighter ace and decorated War Hero. During his adult years, he has built a professional portfolio encompassing lending, investing and insurance services. Prior to his civilian career, Jonathan proudly served with the 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, as an infantryman stationed in Camp Pendleton, California. During that time he deployed three different times serving as the Squad Assault Weapon Specialist, Team Leader, and Eventually Squad Leader. During his five years of service, he has had friends and brothers sacrifice much, sometimes all for our freedom. Stand For Vets was started by Jon’s stepfather, John Hodel, and is an organization where Jon can help spread the awareness of just how high that price of freedom can cost some veterans.
